A two-day workshop series for volunteers, committees, and community groups in the Temora and Bland Shires.
Reignite your purpose, strengthen your group, and learn the smart, simple tools that make a real difference.
Whether you're a long-standing community group or just getting started, this workshop series is designed to help you reconnect with your mission, energise your volunteers, and make the day-to-day work feel easier and more impactful.
Across two days, we’ll dive into the stuff that really matters:
Working better together – Understand your group dynamics, improve communication, and build a shared vision.
Smarter meetings & structures – Learn how to run meetings people want to attend, and get clear on roles, rules and responsibilities (in plain English!).
Grants & digital tools – Write stronger grant applications and explore easy digital tools (including AI!) that save time and reduce admin.
Finding & keeping great volunteers – Discover practical ways to attract, support, and retain the people who make your group thrive.
You’ll walk away with:
✔ Fresh clarity about your group’s purpose and direction
✔ Practical templates, tools and ideas you can start using straight away
✔ Confidence in your committee’s roles, governance and goals
✔ New ways to bring in (and hang on to) great volunteers
We will provide afternoon tea at the Day 1 workshop and morning tea at Day 2, if you have any dietary requirements please email the organiser once you have registered.
Come along, get inspired, and connect with others doing great things in your community.

With a voice that soothes and lyrics that stir the soul, Jodi Martin continues to inspire with every note - a true storyteller whose music is as honest and moving as the life behind it.
Jodi Martin’s music is a heartfelt journey shaped by love, resilience, and family. Raised on a grain farm in South Australia, she began writing songs at just three years old, and that early spark has grown into a lifelong fire. With seven critically acclaimed albums, an ARIA award, and collaborations with icons like Kasey Chambers, Arlo Guthrie, and Grammy-winner Steve Leslie, Jodi has carved a powerful presence in the worlds of country, folk, and Americana music.
Time away from the stage spend with her family on the farm deepened her connection to her roots, bringing a raw emotional depth to her songwriting. Her recent singles, 'Country Mile,' 'Tommy the Toyota' and 'Good Race You Have Run' struck a chord on Australian radio joining some of her earlier releases of 'Saltwater in my Hair,' 'Diesel' and 'Never Settle,' resonating with fans old and new. Jodi’s performances offer more than just music - they're an experience of authenticity, connection, and the unshakable spirit of a woman who has never let go of her truth.
