The Bundawarrah Centre Cultural Precinct is home to many of Temora's attractions and modern facilities, including the Temora Rural Museum and Ambulance Museum. There is a constant stream of activities, events and exhibitions, the Temora Local and Family History Research Centre, Temora Shed 4 Men, TEMFM, and Visitor Information Centre.

Temora Rural Museum

The Temora Rural Museum is a cornerstone of the Bundawarrah Centre, celebrating the rich history of the Temora district and the evolution of farming and rural life in southern New South Wales.

Managed by dedicated volunteers, the museum features an impressive collection of heritage buildings, machinery, memorabilia and community stories that bring the region's past to life. From Sir Donald Bradman's home and historic rural buildings to working tractors, engines and agricultural equipment, the museum offers visitors a fascinating journey through the social, cultural and agricultural heritage of rural Australia.

Set within beautifully maintained grounds, the museum invites visitors to explore at their own pace and discover the passion and knowledge behind one of the Riverina's premier heritage collections.

From elegant Victorian fashion and handcrafted textiles to communication technology, local history archives and Bradman's Cottage, these collections tell the story of everyday life in the Temora district. Explore changing lifestyles through clothing, household items, telecommunications, family history resources and the preserved home that welcomed Australia's greatest cricketer, Sir Donald Bradman.

  • Explore one of Australia's most significant collections celebrating the history of emergency services. The Bundawarrah Centre preserves the stories, vehicles and equipment of the NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire & Rescue NSW and Ambulance Service. From early motorised fire engines and bushfire brigade vehicles to historic ambulances and rescue equipment, these displays showcase the evolution of emergency response and the dedication of those who have served communities across New South Wales.

  • Step into the heart of rural industry and discover the machinery, innovation and agricultural achievements that helped shape the Riverina. Featuring working tractors, stationary engines, historic farming equipment and the fascinating story of wheat development at the Temora Agricultural Research Station, these collections highlight the ingenuity and determination that transformed Australian agriculture and supported generations of farming families.

  • Yellow 2026 (opens August) invites visitors into a vibrant, immersive exploration of colour, community and connection, anchored in the seasonal spectacle of the Canola Trail.

    At its core, the exhibition celebrates yellow as both a visual language and an emotional experience—a colour synonymous with warmth, light, growth and optimism.
