Harberton House
The West room in the Guest Wing at Harberton House provides stylish boutique accommodation in one of the most prominent buildings in Temora's historic main street. Located in the former kitchen/dining wing of the bank manager's residence of the Union Bank, this self-contained apartment provides the option for either one or two ensuite bedrooms.
The space
Staying in the Guest Wing feels like a homely escape. The space has high ceilings and generously proportioned rooms. Large windows fill the space with natural light with curtains and privacy blinds.
Quality linen and comfortable king-sized beds add to the luxurious feel that is echoed in the fit-out of the bathrooms with brass details throughout.
Pale oak flooring, marble detailing, and original period details add to the uniqueness of this space. Each bedroom is equipped with a smart TV, wi-fi, ceiling fan, and reverse-cycle air conditioning.
The West room benefits from a larger bedroom including a desk area that doubles as a makeup table.
The fully-equipped kitchen is capable of cooking a meal, but as you're within walking distance to Temora's finest eateries it's unlikely you'll need it! It contains seating for four people dining in or six if you're eating in the sun-filled courtyard.
Guest access
Booking the West room provides you with exclusive use of a generously proportioned ensuite bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen/dining room, and a private courtyard for outdoor dining and lounging. There is onsite parking for two vehicles. Although there are two bedrooms in the Guest Wing, the East Room will be locked for your stay. To book the entire Wing including both bedrooms, please see the listing for EAST + WEST.
Other things to note
A Little Rae of Sunshine homeware/giftware retail shop is located on the ground floor of the building that may use the courtyard for deliveries on occasion. The shop is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday and is well worth a visit.
