The Town Hall Theatre Film Club will hold a special screening of Opera Australia’s La Traviata which was performed at an open-air theatre on Sydney Harbour in April 2021.
La Traviata is the story that inspired Moulin Rouge. Take in the breathtaking staging, including a giant chandelier that shimmers over the harbour stage, with one of the world’s most popular operas.
Tickets are free, but will be in high demand, so get in quick.
La Traviata will screen on Thursday 24th March 2022. Contact Sally Hurst at Council on 6980 1105 to find out more and to book tickets. Tickets will be available AFTER 15th February, 2022. Numbers may be limited due to COVID restrictions.
This event is part of The Festival of Place Summer Night Fund – Places of Art and Culture Temora, proudly funded by the NSW Government, supporting free events that enliven public spaces and re-energise our local centres in the evening. Temora Shire Council has received $15,000 to hold free community events at Temora Library, Temora Town Hall Theatre and Temora Arts Centre during March and April 2022.
