Professor Chris Orchard has been engaged to populate a Temora Shire and surrounds map of Aboriginal place names and meanings. However, what he promises to deliver is much more than ever expected in the way of our Aboriginal stories, which bring about the meaning behind the place names in our Shire.

Aboriginal people, family, friends, and allies are invited to a gathering to view our Temora Shire and surrounds Wiradjuri map. Professor Orchard will present his findings of Aboriginal names, origins, and stories from our Shire as part of "Our Wiradjuri Story".

And best yet, lunch will be provided!

Following this final gathering, a map will be printed and hung in the Bundawarrah Centre.
