THE FED AND BED TEMORA is situated within a heritage listed circa 1912 building in Temora's CBD. Our central location is perfect to access local restaurants and the many places of interest within the local region.
The Federal Hotel was built and then officially opened in 1912 after the original Grenfell Hotel building was destroyed by fire in 1901. The building was stripped of its upstairs verandah and lacework during the 1960’s. Ironically a fire in 1995 damaged the interior of the current building after which, repairs were carried out prior to the opening of The Patchwork Inn. The building was purchased by Peter Heinrich in 2022.
Centrally located in the region, the Wagga Wagga Airport is 96 km (60 minutes) from THE FED AND BED TEMORA. We are located 25 minutes from Stockinbingal, 40 minutes from Cootamundra, and 40 minutes from Junee.
We have 16 freshly painted and airconditioned rooms in total, consisting of twin, queen, triple and family rooms with the capacity to accommodate up to 38 guests. They offer simple, clean rooms with shared bathroom amenities. Included in your tariff is a continental breakfast, for you to enjoy in our downstairs guest dining room.
Coach terminals are in the immediate vicinity and private off-street parking is available at the rear of the building, with access via Little Hoskins Street.
A gas BBQ is available for guests to use in the courtyard and free WiFi is available throughout the property.
Enjoy Toby’s Estate Coffee with their Signature Shredded Lamb and Caramelised Onion Toasted Turkish Bread or home baked sweets in the ambiance of our airconditioned street view dining room or courtyard, proudly served by our staff at The Courtyard Café Monday – Friday from 6.30 am and Saturday from 8.30 am
Their Courtyard space and or Long Dining Room are available for exclusive hire for functions, events, and meetings. Joined by large French doors, providing an open airy space being a perfect venue for your next gathering for up to 60 seated or 80 standing in The Courtyard, or up to 24 seated in The Long Dining Room. Their staff are happy to assist with the creation of your perfect space with crockery and glassware also available for hire.

1 x Family Room (1 Queen Bed & 2 Single Beds) $110 per night / up to 2 extra people +$20 per night each.
They offer clean, basic, reverse cycle air conditioned rooms with shared bathroom facilities. There are 2 x bathrooms with separate toilets and a bank of showers available upstairs. All linen is provided.
A continental breakfast is included in their tariff, which is available in the downstairs guest dining room which also houses ample guest kitchen facilities including refrigerators and a television.
